There are few things guaranteed to both humble and horrify a dog owner........
discovering a large cold pile of dog vomit before you've had your first coffee, let alone your bovine collagen powder, NMN, iron, lions mane gut reset shot and three minutes distracted meditation.
If you don't move it, you know that everyone else in the house will develop immediate acute temporary blindness. It's astonishing really.
This morning's offender?
Sadie.
German Shepard. Overthinker. Fiercely loyal. Never off Duty. Sensitive stomach.
I spend an embarrassing amount of time trying to produce "Insta-gram-able" lifestyle shots with Sadie gazing over the fields at the back of the house or lounging on what actually is a filthy hair ridden cream sofa, rather than the pristine one I'd like it be.
So, today I thought I'd own my own reality and hopefully make just one person smile, knowing that they've not been alone today. Head Human at House of Filthy Animal started her day scooping up cold dog sick with a reusable Tesco Carrier bag. Luxury has many faces.
Fortunately, she (Sadie that is, not me) hasn't rolled in it so I won't need to attempt to make a lifestyle video trying (and normally failing) to capture the luxurious grooming experience for Sadie and the retching misery for me.
Sadly, prebiotic dog shampoo can work wonders for your dog's skin. They can not unfortunately, prevent a German Shepard projectile vomiting. If they could, I would be writing this from my superyacht.
I will you spare you the reality shot and stick with Sadie gazing notably into the distance.
